IELTS task2が全然うまくいかない！
IELTSのライティングの66%の配点があるメインパートであり、最低250文字のエッセイを約40分で書き上げなければいけないTask 2。
何を書くかアイデアが出ない、文字数が足りない、表現にバラエティーがないなど、多くの人がIELTSの難関ポイントと上げていますよね。
今回は、そんな悩みを少しで解決すべく、ニュージーランドでIELTSコースを受講した際に教えてもらった試験でそのまま使える定型文を紹介したいと思います。

Task2とは？おすすめのアイデアの出し方
Task2で気を付けるべき6種類の問題パターン
Task２ではテーマに合わせてエッセイの構成を変える必要があります。
２０２３年現在、テーマは主に６つ分類され、それらを大きく分類したものが以下の4つになります。
- Agree or disagree (賛成か反対か)
- Discuss both sides（両サイドを批判）
- advantages and disadvantages （利点と欠点）
- problems and solutions （問題提起と解決策）
そして、採点項目は以下の４項目になります。

各項目の配点は２５%となっており、ただ語彙だけが良ければいいわけでなく、問題の理解力や、文法力、構成力など英語を使ったライティングの全体を評価されます。
今回紹介する定型文は、このうちのVocabularyとGrammarの点数アップを焦点を当てています。
では、まず最初にエッセイで何を書くか決めるのよに役立つトピックを紹介したいと思います。
エッセイのアイデアのおすすめの出し方
問題を渡されたはいいものの、250字も書けそうないいアイデアが浮かばない！
IELTSを受けたことがある人なら一度は経験したことがあるのではないでしょうか？
僕自身もアイデアをまとめるのに15分近く時間がかかり、いざやるぞというときにはもう半分近く時間が過ぎてしまったいるなんてことも何度かありました。
それを講師に相談したところ、以下の9つのトピックを意識しながら間を整理するといいよと教わりました。
それから問題をもらったら空白に9つのトピックを書きそれぞれのトピックで広げられそうな話題を書き留めてから文章をまとめるようにしたのですが、これがかなり便利でおすすめでした。
使い方はいたって簡単でここにあるトピックをネタのベースにして文を構成していくということです。
例えば、以下の様なお題が出たとします。
In many countries, people tend to move overseas or move to a different part of their country after their retirement. Discuss why they do so and what the outcome of this situation is. Provide specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.
多くの国では、定年退職後に海外に移住したり、自国の別の場所に移動したりする傾向があります。なぜそうするのか、また、その結果どうなるのか、議論してください。自分の意見を裏付けるために、具体的な理由や事例を提示すること。
これがテーマだった場合は、”お金”をメイントピックとして考えて、生活費が安いから、より良い年金制度の為、医療費の違いなどを中心に話を作っていきます。
白紙よりガイドが付いた方眼ノートの方が書きやすいように、”お金”、”環境”といったトピックという名のガイドがあった方が、アイデアを出したり、考えをまとめたりするのがラクになります。

Task2で使える表現をまとめたテンプレート集
全てのパターンで使えるテンプレ集（ボディ）
まずは、エッセイのボディである本文で使えるフレーズ集です。これらは、基本的にどの問題タイプでも使うことができ、汎用性の高いフレーズなので普段の練習から使って覚えてしまう事をオススメします。
